Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) Despite section 626(1), the repeal of section 37AAA(e) by the 2014 provision has effect for the purposes of a proceeding that commences on or after the commencement of the 2022 provisions, irrespective of when the offence to which the proceeding relates is alleged to have been committed.
(2) In this section—
2014 provision means section 7(3) of the Crimes Amendment (Sexual Offences and Other Matters) Act 2014 ;
2022 provisions means Division 1 of Part 4 of the Justice Legislation Amendment (Sexual Offences and Other Matters) Act 2022 .
