CRIMES (MENTAL IMPAIRMENT AND UNFITNESS TO BE TRIED) ACT 1997 - SECT 78
Abolition of Governor's pleasure orders
(1) A court does not have jurisdiction or power to
order that a person be kept in strict custody until the Governor's pleasure is
known.
(2) The Governor does not have authority to make
an order directing that a person be kept in strict custody during the
Governor's pleasure.
