Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) An assessor must
determine compensation applications expeditiously and informally having regard
to the requirements of justice and this Act.
(2) In deciding a
compensation application an assessor is not bound by rules or practice as to
evidence or procedure but may inform himself or herself in any manner he or
she thinks fit.
