(1) Subject to
sections 32, 33 and 34, the maximum amount that may be awarded in aggregate
under sections 30(1) and (3) in favour of one person for a single offence
committed on a date in a period set out in the Table to this subsection is set
out in the Table opposite that period.

(2) Subject to
sections 32, 33 and 34, the maximum amount that may be awarded in aggregate on
a compensation application made by the personal representative of a victim who
dies as a consequence of the commission of an offence committed in a period
set out in the Table to subsection (1) is set out in that Table opposite the
period.
(3) The regulations
may from time to time amend the Table to subsection (1) by —
(a)
inserting a further item that specifies the maximum amount for offences
committed on or after a date specified or referred to in the item, being a
date on or after the date on which the regulations come into operation; and
(b)
making any necessary consequential amendments to any previous item in the
Table that do not change the effect of the item.
