for an IP warrant (involved protected person) to do an identifying procedure
on an involved person who is a protected person —
(a) if
the officer reasonably suspects that, if a request were made under section 26,
the investigation of the offence concerned would be prejudiced; or
(b) if
under section 28 an IP warrant (involved protected person) is needed in order
to do it.
