(1) In this section
—
database manager means a person who has the
control and management of a DNA database.
(2) A database manager
must ensure that the DNA database is used only for the following purposes
—
(a) to
contain only the information that under this Act may be put in the database
together with any information that is reasonably necessary to administer the
database;
(b) to
compare the information in the database with other information, whether or not
in the database, in accordance with this Act;
(c) for
the purposes of an arrangement entered into under section 91(1).
