CORPORATIONS LAW RULES 2000 (2000 NO 16) - REG 87

Powers of master and registrar

(1)       The master or registrar may exercise a power of the court—

        (a)     under a provision of the Law mentioned in column 2, or a provision of these rules mentioned in column 3, of an item in Part 1 of Schedule 2; or

        (b)     under a provision of the ASC Law mentioned in column 2, or a provision of these rules mentioned in column 3, of an item in Part 2 of Schedule 2.

(2)       A decision, direction or act of the master or registrar made, given or done under these rules may be reviewed by the court or a judge.

(3)       An application for the review of a decision, direction or act of the master or registrar made, given or done under these rules must be made within—

        (a)     21 days after the decision, direction or act complained of; or

        (b)     any further time allowed by the court.
