DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES (EXPLOSIVES) REGULATIONS 2004 (NO 10 OF 2004) - REG 26

Authorised explosives—Act, s 73

    (1)     In these regulations—

"authorised explosive" means—

        (a)     an explosive declared by the Minister or the chief executive under this part to be authorised; or

        (b)     a general use firework; or

        (c)     ANFO, if it is manufactured under a shotfirer licence, in accordance with the prescribed condition of the licence mentioned in regulation 187 (1) (c).

    (2)     An authorised explosive is a controlled dangerous substance for the Act.
