DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES (EXPLOSIVES) REGULATIONS 2004 (NO 10 OF 2004) - REG 97

Import records

    (1)     The holder of an import licence must make a record of all explosives imported into the ACT under the licence.

    (2)     The licensee must keep each record for at least 3 years after the day of the import, whether or not the licence continues in force for that period.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.

    (3)     An offence against this regulation is a strict liability offence.

Part 2.6     Carrying explosives

Note     If these regulations require an explosive to be carried in a particular way, and a person carrying the explosive does not comply with that requirement, the person may commit an offence against the Act, s 80 (Unauthorised carrying of certain dangerous substances).
