Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) This part applies to the carrying of explosives by road or rail.
(2) However, this part does not apply to the carrying of an explosive by an inspector or police officer exercising a function under the Act.
(3) Until 12 months after the day this regulation commences—
(a) a requirement under this part that a person must hold an explosives driving licence or interstate explosives driving licence does not apply; and
(b) despite anything in this part, a person is taken to be authorised under regulation 107 to drive a vehicle carrying an explosive by road (in the ACT) whether or not the person holds an explosives driving licence or interstate explosives driving licence to drive the vehicle.
(4) Subregulation (3) and this subregulation expire 12 months after the day on which this regulation commences.
