FIREARMS REGULATION 2008 (NO 55 OF 2008) - REG 79

    (1)     This section applies, if immediately before the commencement day, a body was authorised to operate a paint pellet range under the pre-commencement regulation, section 46.

    (2)     The authorisation is taken to be an approval to operate an approved paintball range under this regulation, part 14 (Approved paintball ranges).

    (3)     Any condition to which the authorisation was subject under the pre-commencement regulation continues to apply to the approval but may be amended under the Act.

    (4)     The approval ends on the earliest of the following:

        (a)     the day the authorisation would have ended under the pre-commencement regulation;

        (b)     the day the approval is cancelled under section 65 (Approved paintball ranges, cancellation of approval—Act, s 272 (2) (l));

        (c)     the day this section expires.
