GAS SUPPLY REGULATIONS 1999 (NO 10 OF 1999) - REG 23

    (1)     A person must not test, seal or stamp a meter unless the person is an authorised person.

Penalty:

        (a)     for an individual—10 penalty units;

        (b)     for a corporation—50 penalty units.

    (2)     A person must not test a meter unless—

        (a)     the person is an authorised person; and

        (b)     the testing is done in accordance with the approved procedures.

Penalty:

        (a)     for an individual—10 penalty units;

        (b)     for a corporation—50 penalty units.

    (3)     An authorised person must not seal and stamp a meter unless it complies with the standards in the approved procedures.

Penalty:

        (a)     for an individual—10 penalty units;

        (b)     for a corporation—50 penalty units.

    (4)     An authorised person must seal and stamp a meter if the authorised person tests a meter and it complies with the standards in the approved procedures.

Penalty:

        (a)     for an individual—10 penalty units;

        (b)     for a corporation—50 penalty units.
