Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) If, at the commencement of the Act, part 7, there is in force for an existing organisation a notice from the genetic manipulation advisory committee that the organisation is an accredited organisation, the organisation is taken to be an accredited organisation under the Act, section 92.
(2) Subregulation (1) applies—
(a) subject to the Act, sections 94 (b) and (c), section 95 and section 96; and
(b) until the end of 2 years after the day the Act, part 7 commences, provided the organisation complies with the regulator's guidelines (if any) under the Act, section 98.
(3) This regulation is a law to which the Legislation Act, section 88 (Repeal does not end effect of transitional laws etc) applies.
(4) This regulation expires 2 years after the day it commences.
