MEDICINES, POISONS AND THERAPEUTIC GOODS REGULATION 2008 (NO 42 OF 2008) - REG 33

The following are the additional requirements for prescribing a designated appendix D medicine for a purpose mentioned in schedule 3 (Designated appendix D medicines—standing approvals), part 3.2, column 3 in relation to the medicine:

        (a)     the prescriber has an appendix D medicines approval to prescribe the medicine;

        (b)     the prescriber complies with each condition (if any) of the approval (including any condition in schedule 3, part 3.2, column 4 in relation to the medicine).
