POISONS AND DRUGS REGULATIONS (NO. 15 OF 1993) - REG 5

5. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 47W (2) (b) of the Act, in relation to a poison specified in column 1 of Schedule 1—

(a) a class of persons specified opposite that poison in column 2 of that Schedule is prescribed; and

(b) a purpose set out opposite each such class in column 3 of that Schedule is a prescribed purpose in relation to that class for which a member of that class may possess the poison.

(2) For the purposes of paragraph 47W (2) (b) of the Act, persons in day-to-day control of analytical laboratories are prescribed with respect to a poison specified in Schedule 2 for the prescribed purpose of analysis.
