ROAD TRANSPORT (DIMENSIONS AND MASS) REGULATIONS 2000 (2000 NO 7) - REG 5

(1)      For subparagraph 43 (4) (b) (iv) of the Act, the identifying particular for a police officer is the service number of the police officer.

(2)      For subparagraph 43 (4) (b) (iv) of the Act, the identifying particular for an authorised person is the unique number given to the authorised person—

        (a)     by the road transport authority under regulation 4; or

        (b)     under regulation 11 (Persons authorised for infringement notices etc to have unique number) of the Road Transport (Offences) Regulations 2000 .
