Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) It is a defence to a prosecution of a person for an offence against a provision of this Chapter if, at the time of the offence, the person was obeying a direction given to the person under subrule 304 (1) of the Australian Road Rules.
(2) To remove any doubt, it is declared that a person must obey a direction given to the person under subrule 304 (1) of the Australian Road Rules , whether or not the person may contravene a provision of this Chapter by obeying the direction.
