ROAD TRANSPORT (DRIVER LICENSING) REGULATIONS 2000 (2000 NO 14) - REG 6
Conditional and public vehicle licences
(1) A provisional, full, restricted or probationary
licence may also be issued as, or may be varied to become also, a
conditional licence, a public vehicle licence or both.
(2) A
learner licence may also be issued as, or may be varied to become also, a
conditional licence.
Note Conditional licence and public
vehicle licence are defined in the dictionary to the Act as
follows:
"conditional licence" means an Australian driver licence that is
subject to a condition imposed by the road transport authority or the
licensing authority of another jurisdiction.
public vehicle licence means a
driver licence that authorises the person to drive a public vehicle for hire
or reward.
