ROAD TRANSPORT (VEHICLE REGISTRATION) REGULATIONS AMENDMENT (2001 NO 7) - REG 9

    (2)         The registration of a registered vehicle may be renewed not later than—

        (a)     for a seasonal vehicle—1 year after its expiry; or

        (b)     for any other vehicle—3 months after its expiry.

    (2A)     However, if the registration expired before 31 March 2001, the registration may be renewed not later than 1 year after its expiry, but not so as to enable the vehicle to be retrospectively registered.
