ROAD TRANSPORT (HIRE VEHICLE SERVICES) REGULATIONS 2000 (2000 NO 4) - REG 25

Offender to get out of vehicle when directed (NSW Reg cl 25)

(1)      The driver of a hire vehicle, a police officer or an authorised person may direct a person to get out of the vehicle if the driver, police officer or authorised person believes on reasonable grounds that the person is committing an offence under this Part.

(2)      A person must not fail to comply with a direction under this regulation.

Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
