BILLS OF EXCHANGE ACT 1909 - SECOND SCHEDULE

Form of protest which may be used

Section 100

Know all men that I, A.B. [householder], of in the
State of , in the Commonwealth of Australia, at the
request of C.D., did on the day of , 19 ,
at , demand payment [ or acceptance] of the bill of exchange hereunder written, from E.F., to which demand he made answer [ state answer, if any ] , wherefore I now, in the presence of G.H. and J.K., do protest the said bill of exchange.

Schedule 3

10 Saving--appointments

The amendments made by Schedule 2 do not affect the validity of an appointment that was made under an Act before the commencement of this item and that was in force immediately before that commencement.

11 Transitional regulations

The Governor - General may make regulations prescribing matters of a transitional nature (including prescribing any saving or application provisions) relating to the amendments and r epeals made by Schedules 1 and 2.
