A person who is a defence member or a defence civilian commits an offence if:
(a) the person is:
(i) on service land; or
(ii) in a service ship, service aircraft or service vehicle; or
(iii) in a public place; and
(b) the person assaults another person; and
(c) the assault causes actual bodily harm to the other person.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years.
