MARRIAGE ACT 1961 - SECT 106
Failure by interpreter to furnish certificate etc.
A person who has acted as interpreter at the solemnisation of a
marriage shall not:
(a) fail to comply with subsection 112(3); or
(b) intentionally make a false statement in a certificate under
that subsection.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 6 months or 5 penalty units.
