(1) This section applies if a person is liable for a civil penalty under a civil penalty provision of this Act because the person has contravened, or breached a requirement of, another provision of this Act.
References to contraventions
(2) For the purposes of this Act, the person is taken to have contravened the civil penalty provision if the person has contravened, or breached the requirement of, the other provision.
