Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsThe Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (the Work Health and Safety Act ), as modified by this Part, applies in relation to any of the following carried out in the Commonwealth offshore area:
(a) work in the nature of offshore infrastructure activities;
(b) any other work carried out, or purportedly carried out, under a licence;
(c) any other work carried out, or purportedly carried out, in accordance with a requirement under this Act.
Note: The provisions of the Work Health and Safety Act, and (subject to section 243 of this Act) regulations made under that Act, as applied by this Part are the applied work health and safety provisions (see section 8 of this Act).
