OFFSHORE ELECTRICITY INFRASTRUCTURE ACT 2021 - SECT 164

Entry in Register--events affecting a licence

  (1)   If an event specified in the following table occurs in relation to a licence, the Registrar must include a record of the event in the record for the licence.

The Registrar is required by subsection   43(6) to include a notice under subsection   43(2) (requirements relating to applications for commercial licences) in the Register in relation to the licence

The Registrar is required by subsection   94(1) (change in control of licence holder) to make a notation in the Register in relation to the licence

The licence reaches the end day in respect of the whole or a part of the licence area

7

The end day of the licence is extended in respect of the whole or a part of the licence area

8

The licence is surrendered in respect of the whole or a part of the licence area

9

The licence is cancelled

 

  (2)   The regulations may prescribe details that must be included in a record included in the Register under subsection   (1).

  (3)   The record for a licence is to remain on the Register even if the licence has been surrendered or cancelled, or has otherwise ceased to be in effect.
